A connector assembly includes a power connector having a first power interface and a second power interface in interface with a first power component and a second power component. The power connector includes a housing forming a cavity and having a housing slot at a first power interface to receive a first power component. A power contact is received in the cavity and extends between the first power interface and the second power interface to electrically connect the first power component to a power circuit of the second power component. The connector assembly includes a sensing connector that is separate and discrete from the power connector. The sensing connector comprises a first sensing interface and a second sensing interface, and the first sensing interface and the second sensing interface are configured to be connected with the first power component and the second power component.
