The invention relates to the technical field of traffic signal devices, in particular to a portable highway traffic signal device and a photovoltaic module thereof, comprising a traffic signal module which comprises a storage frame, a limiting sleeve frame, a telescopic slide bar, a transverse plate, a warning lamp, a locking screw, an extension rod, a side rod, a recessed groove and a through groove. When a telescopic sliding rod moves upwards in a storage frame, a telescopic rod can pull down a groove inner block through a first pull rope, in this way, the groove inner block slides downwards along a penetrating groove, a supporting rod can be opened, and the supporting rod can make contact with the ground and stably support the storage frame; the stable placement of the traffic signal assembly is facilitated; and when the telescopic sliding rod moves downwards, the telescopic sliding rod can pull the in-groove block upwards by means of a second pull rope, so that the supporting rod can be stored again, and
