According to the method, a brand new electroslag smelting process is adopted, and parameters such as smelting feeding, a composite slag system and the melting speed are controlled, so that the quality of the steel ingot smelted through the electroslag smelting process is improved, the hot working plasticity of the obtained steel ingot is effectively improved, the inclusion content is reduced, and the yield of the steel ingot is increased.
