Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a positioning system and method for an underwater monitoring device. The positioning system comprises an underwater monitoring device unit, a positioning node unit and a position determining unit, the underwater monitoring device unit is used for receiving the positioning frame sent by the positioning node unit and replying a positioning identifier of the underwater monitoring device unit to the positioning node; and the positioning node unit is used for sending a positioning frame for positioning the underwater monitoring devices, determining a first parameter, a second parameter and a positioning identifier of each underwater monitoring device according to signals replied by the underwater monitoring devices, and determining the positions of the underwater monitoring devices according to the first parameters, the second parameters and the positioning identifiers. According to the invention, the underwater monitoring device is positioned by adopting the same sound wave frequency point
