The embodiment of the invention provides an auxiliary leveling device and method for building construction. The device comprises a movable bracket, a leveling plate, a guide rail, a storage tank, a blowing machine, a sensor, a processor and a touch screen, wherein the movable bracket comprises a pulley and a brake device; the leveling plate and the guide rail are mechanically connected with the movable support, and the leveling plate moves along the guide rail. The storage tank comprises a stirring device and a conveying pipe; the blowing machine is mechanically connected with the movable bracket so as to provide dry and hot air to blow the leveling material smeared on the wall body by the leveling plate; the processor is configured to receive leveling information transmitted by the sensor and/or the touch screen and control at least one of the movable support, the leveling plate, the storage tank and the blowing machine to execute auxiliary leveling operation based on the leveling information.
