Zusammenfassung: | The invention belongs to the technical field of gene engineering, and particularly relates to application of a wheat TaERFL1a gene in improvement of physicochemical characteristics and/or digestion characteristics of wheat starch. Research is carried out on the influence of the wheat transcription factor TaERFL1a on the physicochemical property and digestion property of starch, and it is found that overexpression of the TaERFL1a gene can improve the crystallinity and thermal property of the starch, influence the cooking property and improve the physicochemical property; the contents of rapidly digested starch, slowly digested starch and resistant starch can be improved, and the digestion characteristic of wheat starch is improved. The TaERFL1a gene provided by the invention can particularly improve the physicochemical characteristics and/or digestion characteristics of wheat starch under the drought stress condition.
