The preparation method of the hexagonal diamond comprises the following steps that (1) quasi-uniaxial pressure is applied, specifically, pressure is applied to a graphite material in the three-dimensional x-y-z direction, the pressure in the x direction is 12-40 GPa, the pressure in the y direction is 12-40 GPa, the pressure in the z direction is 15-50 GPa, and the pressure in the z direction is larger than the pressure in the x direction and the pressure in the y direction; and (2) heating: heating the graphite material to 300-2000K, and keeping the temperature for 1 minute to 5 hours, so as to obtain the hexagonal diamond.
