Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a biological metal material, in particular to an Mg-Zn-Cu alloy wire as well as a preparation method and application thereof, and the Mg-Zn-Cu alloy wire comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 1.0 to 4.0 percent of Zn, 0.1 to 0.6 percent of Cu and the balance of Mg and inevitable impurities. The method comprises the steps that a rod-shaped blank is heated to a set temperature, then hot drawing is conducted according to a set drawing speed, and an Mg-Zn-Cu alloy wire is prepared; the rod-shaped blank is prepared from the following components in percentage by weight: 1.0 to 4.0 percent of Zn, 0.1 to 0.6 percent of Cu and the balance of Mg and inevitable impurities. By adding a proper amount of Zn element and Cu element, the material has good mechanical property and controllable degradation property. Meanwhile, the preparation method is high in efficiency and low in cost, and large-scale industrial production is achieved.
