The phase change cold storage material comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 25-27% of magnesium chloride, 2-4% of strontium chloride hexahydrate, 2-4% of xanthan gum and the balance of distilled water. The phase change latent heat of the phase change cold storage material reaches 300-452J/g, the phase change temperature ranges from-24 DEG C to-28 DEG C, and the phase change cold storage material has the advantages of being small in supercooling and free of phase separation. The method is suitable for common low-temperature occasions, stabilizes the system operation state, enables the system to operate at low-ebb electricity price, and reduces the operation cost.
