The invention provides an interleukin-31 (IL-31) production inhibitor and a pharmaceutical composition containing the same. The present invention also provides a novel compound useful as an active ingredient of an inhibitor of IL-31 production. They include, as an active ingredient, a compound represented by formula (1) or a salt thereof.
