Zusammenfassung:	The invention belongs to the field of high polymer materials, and particularly relates to a surface modified microporous membrane as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The embodiment of the invention discloses a preparation method of a surface modified microporous membrane. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing a microporous membrane from a skeleton high polymer material; (2) compounding a functional material to the surface of the microporous membrane through a surface modification method; wherein the functional material comprises at least one of a functionalized metal oxide or a coordination polymer. The surface of the microporous membrane is modified by utilizing a functional material, the requirements of research and industrial production application can be met by adopting a laboratory miniaturization preparation technology and a mature existing industrial production technology, and the prepared surface-modified microporous membrane has free radical quenchin
