The method comprises the following steps: S1, obtaining operation parameters of a generator; s2, establishing a voltage equation and a flux linkage equation based on the operation parameters, and constructing an adjustable model based on the voltage equation; s3, obtaining a state equation of the current error based on the adjustable model, and obtaining an estimated rotating speed based on the state equation; and S4, controlling the rotating speed of the generator based on the estimated rotating speed. The method has the beneficial effects that the accuracy of rotating speed estimation can be improved, and the running state of the generator can be controlled based on the estimated rotating speed.
