Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a surface treatment agent for an aluminum-containing metal material, said surface treatment agent being capable of forming a thin film having excellent corrosion resistance and water drainage properties and suppressed odor. A surface treatment agent for an aluminum-containing metal material is obtained by blending (A) a resin having an ethylene structural unit and a hydroxyethylene structural unit, (B) an ether compound having an epoxy group and/or a hydroxyl group, and (C) a metal compound, wherein the content of the ethylene structural unit in the resin (A) is 1-20 mol%. 提供一种用于含铝金属材料的表面处理剂，其能够形成耐腐蚀性以及排水性优异、且臭气得到抑制的薄膜。用于含铝金属材料的表面处理剂中配合有具有乙烯结构单元和羟基乙烯结构单元的树脂(A)、具有环氧基以及羟基中的任一者或两者的醚化合物(B)、以及金属化合物(C)，所述树脂(A)中的乙烯结构单元的含量为1～20摩尔％。
