The gas storage cavern comprises a gas storage cavern, a plugging head and a traffic hole, wherein the gas storage cavern is formed by a lining steel plate sealing layer; an overhaul channel and an intake and exhaust steel pipe are arranged in the plugging head; air inlet and outlet steel pipe shafts, water collecting wells and ventilation and drainage shafts are arranged in the traffic tunnel; the two sides of the bottom of the gas storage cavern are connected with one ends of the gas inlet and outlet steel pipes, and the other ends are connected out of the ground.
