A method for producing iron ore pellets according to one embodiment of the present invention is a method for producing iron ore pellets used in blast furnace operation and having a CaO/SiO2 mass ratio of 0.8 or more and a MgO/SiO2 mass ratio of 0.4 or more, the method comprising: a granulation step for granulating green pellets by adding granulation water to an iron ore raw material and dolomite; and a firing step for firing the green pellets.
