Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides application of OsC3H27 or a mutant thereof in regulation and control of the heading stage of rice, and relates to the technical field of plant biology. The sequence of the OsC3H27 gene is as shown in SEQ ID No.1 (sequence identifier number 1). Experiments prove that OsC3H27 has the function of regulating and controlling the heading time of plants, when OsC3H27 gene mutation causes protein function deficiency, the heading period of the plants is obviously earlier than that of wild plants, and under the short-day condition, the heading period of mutants Oc3h27-1 and Oc3h27-2 is about 5 days earlier than that of the wild plants on average. The OsC3H27 or the mutant of the OsC3H27 can be used for regulating and controlling the heading period of rice, has important significance in the aspects of rice genetic breeding and germplasm resource improvement, and also provides a direction for cultivating high-yield rice.
