The invention further relates to a method of manufacturing a blade shell component or a wind turbine blade comprising a pre-fabricated spar cap (100) and a plurality of pre-impregnated fibrous sheets (20a, 20b) arranged to obtain improved adhesion between the blade shell (80) and the pre-fabricated spar cap, in particular when the prefabricated spar cap is impregnated with vinyl ester or epoxy resin and the blade mold is infused with polyester resin.
