The method comprises the following steps: establishing finite element mesh models of a cylinder cover of a cylinder in a valve mechanism of the internal combustion engine, a cam shaft connected with the cylinder cover and a shaft cover of the cam shaft to obtain a target finite element mesh model; building a dynamic simulation model of the gas distribution mechanism; performing simulation analysis on the dynamic simulation model of the valve mechanism to obtain stress conditions of a cam sheet and a journal of the cam shaft under at least one working condition; building a three-dimensional joint dynamic simulation model among the cylinder cover, the camshaft and a crankshaft mechanism of the internal combustion engine; and based on the target finite element mesh model, the stress conditions of the cam piece and the journal of the camshaft under at least one working c
