A graphite release agent in the catalyst is subjected to N doping modification, then the graphite release agent and an active component copper in the catalyst form coordination anchoring, the heated sintering trend of copper is slowed down through coordination interaction of N and copper, finally, the N-doped graphite modified methanol synthesis catalyst with high thermal stability is obtained, and efficient utilization of all components of the catalyst is achieved.
