Method for operating memory unit and for executing application program in computer-aided manner

The subject of the invention is a method for operating a memory unit in a computer-aided manner, in which data is stored in the memory unit and is encoded before the storage, or data is retrieved from the memory unit and is decoded after the retrieval. In order to encode the data for the first time, at least one group of application data sets is generated or selected from a repository of possible difference feature data, the application data sets containing data portions having the same application data for the application and check data portions each having different difference feature data. Each application data set is encoded and stored. The data is retrieved by retrieving the application data set and decoding the application data set. Data storage is performed by encoding and storing application data sets. Furthermore, the invention comprises a method, a computer program product and a provision device for executing an application program multiple times in a redundant computing entity in a computer-aided m
