The process comprises the following steps: selecting typical parts such as base metal and weld joints of main equipment of the nuclear power plant as test objects; determining a base material and related welding requirements of a test piece according to a test object, and preparing the test piece; preparing a plurality of groups of defects with different sizes on the test piece; carrying out ultrasonic inspection test work on the multiple groups of defects by adopting multiple groups of different ultrasonic inspection parameters; and formulating a nuclear power plant main equipment ultrasonic inspection defect roughness influence compensation table.
