A trestle comprises steel pipe piles, pile top bearing beams, bailey trusses, distribution beams and a riffled plate bridge deck. The construction method is characterized by comprising the steps of S1, pile foundation construction; s2, constructing an upper structure of the trestle; s3, maintaining the steel trestle; s4, the steel trestle is dismantled; in pile foundation construction, a crane is matched with a vibratory hammer to drive the steel pipe pile, and the pile sinking efficiency and the supporting strength of the steel pipe pile are guaranteed along with keeping of a monitoring state; in the construction of the trestle upper structure, the reinforcing vertical rods are arranged between the bailey trusses for supporting, and the supporting strength of the steel box bridge is improved; the bailey trusses are continuously assembled, so that the construction efficiency of the trestle is
