An ophthalmic apparatus includes: an illumination system supported so as to be rotatable about an eye to be examined while an irradiation direction of illumination light is directed toward the eye to be examined; and an observation system that has a camera device and is provided on the opposite side of the position where the eye to be examined is disposed with respect to the illumination system.
