The invention provides a camera sharing method, which comprises the following steps: acquiring image acquisition information of at least one second application process through a first application process occupying a camera for a long time, the image acquisition information at least comprising an image storage address; establishing a first image acquisition channel based on the image storage address of the first application process and the image storage address of the second application process; sending a first image acquisition request of a first application process and a second image acquisition request of a second application process to a camera service layer based on the first image acquisition channel, and the camera service layer sends image data acquired by the camera to an image storage area of the first application process and an image storage area of the second application process based on the first image acquisition request and the second image acquisition request.
