The invention relates to an AI-based graphic design generation method and system. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a description text and a related image input by an external user; extracting keywords in the description text; comparing the keyword with a pre-established material library to obtain a plurality of related texts which are the same as or similar to the keyword and related materials corresponding to the plurality of related texts; matching the related image with the related material to obtain a target material; and constructing the graphic design based on the target material.
