The method comprises the following steps that a goaf site stability evaluation system is established; goaf site data are collected, and five machine learning methods are used for learning testing; selecting an optimal algorithm and establishing a goaf site stability evaluation model; grading the stability of the goaf site; performing influence degree grading on the train influence factors; establishing an extension comprehensive evaluation model; and determining the activation grade of the goaf foundation.
