Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a high-purity ferroboron alloy and a preparation method thereof.The high-purity ferroboron alloy is prepared from boric anhydride, iron, calcined coke, charcoal, wood chips and metal neodymium through proportioning, smelting, refining, secondary pouring and finishing packaging after compatibility of the boric anhydride, the iron, the calcined coke, the charcoal, the wood chips and the metal neodymium, the raw material compatibility is reasonable, and the low-carbon ferroboron alloy is obtained through segregation generated by natural cooling of the alloy; the main components of the obtained alloy comprise 0.12-2% of Nd, 19-22% of B and 77-79% of Fe. The preparation method is simple, the process is easy to control, the energy consumption is low, and after Nd is introduced into the alloy, the affinity among elements is improved, the metallographic structure among the elements is improved, and the impurity content is reduced.
