The method comprises the following steps: detecting a first temperature of the surfaces of the tea leaves and a second temperature and relative humidity of air in a tea leaf storage environment; calculating the dew point temperature of the ambient air according to the second temperature and the relative humidity; comparing the first temperature with the dew point temperature according to a tea moisture aggregation model formula to obtain a binary tea moisture aggregation variable; according to the prediction method, the temperature and the humidity are converted into the moisture aggregation values to predict the shelf life of the tea leaves, the prediction accuracy and the prediction reliability of the shelf life of the tea leaves are high, the operation method is simple, and temperature and humidity parameters are easy to obtain.
