The method comprises the steps that a VCU is made to determine whether a gear of a gear lever is a mutual switching operation between a D gear and an R gear or not according to a received gear signal of the gear lever; according to the gear of the gear lever, a target gear is requested from the TCU, the TCU controls the DCT to conduct gear shifting according to the target gear, and an actual gear signal of the DCT is sent to the VCU after gear shifting of the DCT is completed; whether an engine participates in driving is determined. According to the power assembly control method for mutual switching of the D gear and the R gear, aiming at a P2 + DCT hybrid power framework, when a driver switches the D gear and the R gear at a low vehicle speed and in a static state, the vehicle runs according to the intention of the driver.
