Zusammenfassung: | In order to protect a power converter arrangement (20) for two motors (M1, M2) from damage, comprising semiconductor arrangements (H1, H2), it is proposed that a total current (IS) is continuously formed from a first current (I1 actual) and a second current (I2 actual) by means of a control unit (21) and is compared with a predeterminable maximum value (Max), the control unit (21) has a memory means (SM), in which a priority level (PR) can be input by the user (1), said priority level (PR) describing the priority of one of the two machines (M1, M2), and the control unit (21) is further designed to reduce the current (I1 actual, I2 actual) of the respective machine (M1, M2) that does not have priority according to the priority level (P) when a maximum value (Max) is exceeded.
