According to the scheme, the converter valve comprises a plurality of diode stages which are connected in series to form a bridge arm of the converter valve; each diode stage comprises a diode, a resistor and a lightning arrester, and a branch where the resistor is located, a branch where the lightning arrester is located and a branch where the diode is located are connected in parallel; performance testing is carried out in the following mode: two to-be-tested diode converter valves are reversely connected in series to form a converter valve pair, and at least one converter valve pair is connected to two ends of an alternating current power supply to form a testing loop; when the AC voltage at the two ends of the AC power supply is stable, the voltage stabilization performance of the to-be-tested diode converter valve is good.
