Data skew monitoring method and distributed database system

The invention discloses a data skew monitoring method and a distributed database system. The data skew monitoring method comprises the steps of obtaining distribution table information of the database system; calculating a current slope rate based on the obtained distribution table information, and calculating a simulation slope rate corresponding to a specified distribution key in the distribution table information; and judging whether data skew occurs in the current skew rate based on the simulated skew rate, if so, searching for a distribution key which enables data distribution to be more balanced according to the simulated skew rate, and performing redistribution based on the searched distribution key so as to improve the data distribution balance of the database.
