The method comprises the following steps: aiming at a VTI medium, solving a Christoffel equation through a characteristic value method according to a Thomsen parameter, and obtaining a longitudinal wave eikonal equation; solving a path function equation of longitudinal waves to obtain a kinematics ray tracing equation of the VTI medium; and solving a kinematic ray tracing equation through a Runge-Kutta method to realize ray tracing of the VTI medium.
