Zusammenfassung:Devices, methods, systems, and media are described for selecting virtual objects for user interaction in an augmented reality environment. A remote virtual object is brought close to the user within the virtual 3D space such that the selected virtual object is in the virtual space near the user's hand for direct manipulation. The user selects a virtual object according to a motion of the user's hands and/or head, the motion relating to or associated with an intention to select a particular virtual object within the virtual 3D space. When the user's hand moves in a manner consistent with this intent, the virtual object is closer to the user's hand within the virtual 3D space.
