The influence of different transverse rib thicknesses and vertical stress on the direct shear characteristic of the grid net interface is analyzed through an indoor large-scale direct shear test; the influence of the thickness of the enhanced transverse rib on the passive side resistance in a shear mode is discussed, the influence of the shear characteristic of a geogrid net rib soil interface is studied, and the self-sensing geogrid is applied to a model test of an underlying soil cave roadbed.
