Method, apparatus and computer program product for slide processing

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a batch scanning solution for pathological slides. Some embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for slide processing. The method includes obtaining a first image of a tray including a plurality of slots. The slot can accommodate a slide, the slide including a tag and a sample for pathological analysis. The method further includes determining a plurality of sub-images from the first image based on the structure of the tray, wherein each sub-image of the plurality of sub-images corresponds to one of the plurality of slots. The method further includes extracting information from the label of the slide based on the at least one sub-image.
