Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a balloon for ablation around a pulmonary vein. An ablation method is provided by introducing a catheter into a left atrium, extending a lasso guide through a lumen of the catheter to engage a wall of a pulmonary vein, and deploying a balloon over the lasso guide to perform a cardiac ablation. The balloon has an electrode assembly disposed outside the balloon. The electrode assembly includes a plurality of ablation electrodes disposed about a perimeter of a longitudinal axis of the catheter.
