A device for assisting tricuspid valve function of a heart includes a shaft, a flow optimizer, and an anchoring mechanism. The tilting mechanism may be configured to tilt the shaft relative to a central axis of the anchoring mechanism. A leaflet of a flow optimizer (e.g., a multi-layer leaflet) may include a membrane and a rim, and the rim may have a higher stiffness than the membrane.
