According to the method, an infrared 14-bit original image frame sequence is used, pixel-level motion estimation is carried out on the image frame sequence, offset correction matrix updating is carried out on image frames judged to be in motion, and the offset correction matrix is used for correcting the image frame sequence so as to reduce the non-uniformity of the image. According to the method, image details can be better reserved while image heterogeneity is removed, image ghosting cannot be introduced, the algorithm complexity is low, and embedded implementation can be achieved.
