The invention relates to the technical field of building material testing, and discloses an aggregate specific surface area testing method, which comprises the following steps: taking an aggregate sample, carrying out a screening test to obtain the screen residue of each screen, and calculating the percentage content of each particle size interval of the aggregate; taking the sieve residues of each sieve with the same percentage as the sieve residue of each sieve as a test sample, and sequentially cleaning and drying the test sample; dipping the dried test sample in a silica gel liquid, taking out the test sample, and curing the silica gel liquid to obtain a test sample with a silica gel wrapping layer; removing the silica gel wrapping layer of the test sample, measuring the area of the silica gel wrapping layer, and calculating the specific surface area of each test sample according to the mass of each test sample; and calculating the average specific surface area of the aggregate according to the percentage
