Method, apparatus and system for running function at mobile network node

A method, apparatus, and system for running a function at a mobile network node are provided. A location of a target device to be served by a network function is determined, as well as a location of a mobile network node that may hosting the network function. The network function is then caused to run at one or more of the network nodes for a specified time. The network nodes are selected to approach the target device within the specified time. The selection is made based on the location of the target device and the location of the network node.
