An electronic device according to various embodiments may include a first camera, a communication module, and a processor operatively connecting the first camera and the communication module, where the processor is configured to: establish a short-range wireless communication connection with an external device including a second camera; establishing a communication connection with an opposite terminal device; determining a format of the image data to be transmitted to the counterpart device; selecting one of the first camera and the second camera; if the first camera is selected, packing first image data acquired from the first camera according to the format and transmitting the first image data to the counterpart device, and if the second camera is selected, transmitting the first image data to the counterpart device; and if so, packaging second image data acquired by a second camera according to the format and transmitting the second image data to the opposite terminal device. 根据各种实施例的电子装置可以包括第一相机、通信模块和操作地连
