Systems and methods for determining anomalies in cyber-physical systems

The invention relates to a system and a method for determining anomalies in a cyber-physical system (CPS). The method includes generating one or more diagnostic rules configured to calculate at least one auxiliary CPS variable. One or more values of at least one auxiliary CPS variable within a predetermined output time interval are calculated based on the generated diagnostic rule as a function of values of a set of primary CPS variables acquired within a predetermined input time interval.
