Zusammenfassung: | Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for ontology-based graph query optimization. In an example, ontology data related to a graph or an isolated set may be collected. The ontology data may include uniqueness and topology information, and may be used to reformulate queries to produce queries that are higher in performance than original queries when target information is retrieved from the graph. In an example, reformulating a query may include reordering one or more parameters of a query related to a source, a relationship, and/or an attribute based on uniqueness information. In another example, a query may be reformulated by modifying a source type to which the query is anchored based on the topology information. Then, a reformulated query may be performed to identify target information in the isolated set, thereby identifying the same target information as the original query, but in a higher performance manner.
