Device for the magnetic treatment of a liquid

The proposed device for the magnetic treatment of a liquid is intended primarily for the batch treatment of small volumes of small volumes of water in domestic and industrial conditions. The treatment is carried out in a beaker by the reciprocating motion of a number of magnetised discs which cover vitrually the entire cross section of the beaker. This cycle of flow and magnetic treatment of the liquid is maintained by providing the discs with perforations which alternate ins uccessive discs between the central area and the circumference. Liquid is displaced in a direction perpendicular to the vertical lines of magnetic force if the magnet is arranged coaxially in the beaker in the gap between discs made of a ferromagnetic material which act as the pole ends of the magnet, or alternatively, if each disc is a magnet.
