Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to guidance during medical intervention. In order to provide improved navigation support with convenient settings, a system (10) for navigation support is provided. An image data input section (12) receives a plurality of 2D X-ray images of a body part of a subject acquired from different angles. A set of markers visible in the X-ray image and detectable by the navigation system is assigned to the object. Mark detection means (16) are provided to detect a current spatial position of a mark assigned to the object. A data processor (14) reconstructs a 3D volume of the object based on the plurality of 2D X-ray images. At least part of the marker is arranged outside the volume covered by the 3D volume of the reconstructed object while the marker is visible in the 2D X-ray image.
