The invention provides a vertical transition structure and application. The vertical transition structure comprises a multilayer ceramic dielectric, a coplanar line, a quasi-coaxial structure and a metal via hole. The multi-layer ceramic dielectric is a co-fired multi-layer ceramic material and is prepared by adopting a high-temperature co-fired multi-layer ceramic process or a low-temperature co-fired multi-layer ceramic process; the multilayer ceramic dielectric is divided into a top layer part and a step part, and the coplanar lines are arranged on the surface of the top layer and the surface of the step; the top layer part and the step part of the multi-layer ceramic dielectric are respectively provided with an up-and-down through quasi-coaxial structure, and the quasi-coaxial structures are used for low-loss vertical transition transmission of radio frequency signals; and the metal via hole is located at the top layer part of the multilayer ceramic dielectric, is of an up-and-down penetrating structure,
