The present invention relates to deuterated domperidone compositions, methods, and preparations. The present invention provides, inter alia, a pharmaceutical composition for ameliorating nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy, wherein the pharmaceutical composition comprises a therapeutically effective amount of d4-domperidone 2 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
