The method comprises the steps of obtaining to-be-evaluated data corresponding to each to-be-evaluated index at different moments in a to-be-evaluated time period; respectively determining index evaluation conditions and index statistical modes corresponding to the to-be-evaluated indexes at different moments; determining a target evaluation result corresponding to each to-be-evaluated index in the to-be-evaluated time period according to each to-be-evaluated data, each index evaluation condition and each index statistical mode at different moments; and evaluating the automatic driving performance of the vehicle according to the target evaluation results corresponding to the different to-be-evaluated indexes. According to the scheme, the target evaluation result is determined by introducing the to-be-evaluated index, the index evaluation condition and the index statistical mode, and
