Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses titanium diboride reinforced boron carbide-based bulletproof ceramic as well as a preparation method and application thereof, and relates to the technical field of bulletproof metal ceramic. The preparation method comprises the following steps: adding 10-16 wt% of titanium diboride, 4-19 wt% of silicon carbide, 0.5-3 wt% of tungsten powder and 1-5 wt% of titanium powder into 62-82 wt% of a boron carbide matrix, uniformly mixing, carrying out ball milling, drying, putting a boron carbide mixture into a sintering furnace, heating to 700-900 DEG C under a vacuum condition, then filling inert gas, carrying out heat preservation for 2-3 hours, cooling to room temperature, and carrying out heat preservation for 2-3 hours, thereby obtaining the titanium diboride-reinforced boron carbide-based bulletproof ceramic.
